News & policy updates

A dated, source-linked watch on MPD-2047, Land Pooling, LDA and connected Delhi development policy.

Stakeholder programme — 14 September 2026: DDA has invited one representative from each participating RWA, federation of RWAs and CGHS to an awareness and appraisal programme on redevelopment of existing group-housing complexes. It is an outreach meeting—not a policy amendment or project approval.
New official map — 13 September 2026: DDA has published an indicative Road Network Plan GIS for Land Pooling areas in Zones N, P-I and P-II. DDA says it is based on Technical Committee approval dated 4 April 2022, is for reference/viewing only and is subject to change. It must not be treated as a parcel approval or automatic HDC/FAR entitlement.
Verified through 13 September 2026: DDA's last published Land Pooling expression-of-willingness date—31 August 2026—has elapsed, and no later extension was located. No new Land Pooling Regulations, transition directions, charges, HDC qualifying-stretch notification or parcel approval was located.
Reported implementation signals — 1–2 September 2026: Media reports quote senior officials on a broader road-grid target, Land Pooling Regulations within two to three months and seven TOD proposals or expressions of interest. These are reported targets and application-stage signals—not operative instruments or approvals.

The official metadata states that it is based on Technical Committee approval dated 4 April 2022, is for reference and viewing only, and remains subject to change with implementation of the Spatial Development Policies. It is a material official screening resource, but not a Gazette notification, final parcel demarcation, scheme or layout approval, building sanction, HDC qualifying-stretch notification, or automatic FAR entitlement.

Land Pooling EoW date has elapsed; no later extension located

DDA’s live Land Pooling portal and notice list continue to display 31 August 2026 as the last published expression-of-willingness date for 105 villages. That date has elapsed, and no later extension notice was located in the official records reviewed through 13 September. This is a dated monitoring result—not proof that DDA cannot issue a later notice or that every portal function is closed. Check the live DDA portal before attempting to file.

DDA opens an MPD-2047 Feedback channel

DDA says citizens and stakeholders can submit suggestions and feedback through its Citizen Services portal after signing up; the option appears as ‘MPD-2047 (Feedback)’ in the menu and under ‘At Your Service’. This is a participation channel—not a new notification, amendment, statutory objection or appeal, parcel application, permission or assurance that a submission will be accepted. Keep the portal acknowledgement and use any specific statutory process separately when a DDA notice requires it.

DDA publishes two official interactive MPD-2047 GIS atlases

DDA's MPD-2047 hub now links an interactive Spatial Development Policies Map and an interactive MPD-2047 Land Use Plan. They improve city- and policy-level screening, but an on-screen location or layer is not a khasra certificate, demarcation, entitlement or approval. Verify revenue records, notified plans, sector/layout maps, road networks, exclusions and competent-authority permissions before relying on a parcel conclusion.

Institutional market signal

Corporate disclosures—with the approval boundary preserved

A listed-company transaction can reveal how the market is pricing policy opportunity. It does not prove DDA approval, parcel eligibility or development rights.

Max Estates announces an MPD-2047-linked 84.71-acre Delhi land acquisition

The listed developer proposes to acquire nine land-owning companies holding approximately 84.71 acres in Sector 3, Najafgarh through a non-cash share swap of up to Rs.420.2 crore. It estimates 4–6 million sq ft of development potential at FAR approximately 2.0 and GDV of Rs.10,000–12,000 crore. This is a major institutional market signal, but the figures are company estimates: acquisition completion, exact parcel eligibility, scheme treatment, land reconstitution, infrastructure, charges, layout and statutory approvals remain essential. It is not a DDA project or parcel approval.

How updates are handled

We first look for the Gazette notification, DDA/MoHUA notice, map, authority record or court order. Where only a public statement or media report is available, it is labelled as reported and its practical implication is stated cautiously.

Publishing rhythm: daily source monitoring, immediate treatment of a material official change, and one concise full monthly PDF report.
